Notice of Completion/Notice of Availability – Final Tribal Environmental Impact Report for the
Chicken Ranch Rancheria New Hotel and Casino Project.
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the process set forth in Section 10.8, Off-Reservation Environmental Impacts, of the 1999 Tribal State Gaming Compact (Compact) between the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians of California (Tribe) and the state of California, the Tribe has completed the Final Tribal
Environmental Impact Report (TEIR) for the Chicken Ranch Rancheria New Hotel and Casino Project
(Proposed Project), which is situated on land that is held in federal trust for the Tribe.
The Final TEIR includes the responses to public comments received during the public review period of the
Draft TEIR and any clarifications and revisions to the Draft TEIR that are necessary in response to the
comments received. The Final TEIR can be viewed at the Chicken Ranch Rancheria’ Tribal office (9195 Tribal
Way, Jamestown), on the Chicken Ranch Rancheria’s website at https://chickenranchtribe.com/press, as
well as on the state Clearinghouse website at https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/.
The Tribe invites you to attend the Tribal Council hearing to be held at the Bingo Hall/Event Center located
in the current Chicken Ranch Casino at 16929 Chicken Ranch Road in Jamestown, California from 6:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27th. It is at this time that the Tribe will act on the proposed project. This
action will be in the form of a written resolution which, taken together with all supporting documentation
and information, will constitute the Tribe's final decision on the TEIR and the proposed project.
The Tribe will be conducting a project viewing from the Chicken Ranch Rancheria’s Tribal office prior to the
Tribal Council hearing on Tuesday, July 27th at 5:30pm for those that are interested in an overview of the
project.
